Dear Valued Customer:
On behalf of all of us here at Northern I’d like to wish you a prosperous and healthful new year. I also want to personally thank you for helping make the year past one of our most exciting – and rewarding.

The year marked the release – and broad embrace – of the Northern Storage Suite. Since our inception we focused on providing tools that helped IT professionals do their jobs better and more efficiently. We prided ourselves on being a company that listened, learned and delivered real-world solutions. Northern Storage Suite is the culmination of this; its reception exceeded our most optimistic expectations and proved a ringing validation of our customer-centric approach to software development.

At Northern we will continue to listen and innovate and provide you with the flexibility, affordability and support you need and have come to expect.

I want to thank you again for helping make 2003 a memorable year for Northern -- for the dedicated developers and sales reps and support technicians based in our Stockholm and Tampa offices. From all of us, here's to a successful and fulfilling 2004.

/Thomas Vernersson, President of NORTHERN

WORST YEAR EVER FOR CYBER SECURITY
2003 should go down as one of the worst years ever, as hackers and spammers repeatedly demonstrated just how easy it is to attack businesses and trick unwitting Internet users into divulging their personal and financial information. And 2004 could be worse.
